What to Expect

Thank you for visiting Glory Tabernacle. We are glad you are here! It is our prayer that you won’t leave like you came.

Service time is approximately 1.5 hours.

Praise & Worship

Services begin with a powerful time of praise and worship music. Please stand if you are able and join us as we come together to worship our Lord in Spirit and in truth.

Psalm 149:3: Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to him with the timbrel and harp!

Giving

Each Friday and Sunday service includes an opportunity to give tithes and offerings. Instead of passing a donation plate like you may see at other churches, at Glory Tabernacle you are invited to bring contributions to the altar.

Malachi 3:10: Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. “Try Me now in this,” says the Lord of Hosts, “and see that I will open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it!”

The Little White House Project helps fund our mission outreach programs. We use the LWH at each service to collect smaller donations beyond our tithes and offerings (spare change to $1, $5, or more). Over the course of a year, these many small contributions add up to a big impact.

Luke 6:38: Give and it shall be given unto you good measure pressed down and shaken together, and running over shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Preaching the Word

The “meat and potatoes” of the service. At Glory Tabernacle we believe the Bible to be the true living Word of God. Our Pastor preaches and teaches the uncompromised Word by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Mark 16:15: “Jesus said to His disciples, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

Congregational Confessions

Announcements of upcoming events will be made at the end of each service followed by our Congregational Confessions. The Bible says that we live by the words of our mouth, so as a congregation we end our services by speaking the Word over our church and our families. Copies of the confessions are available on the bar in the foyer.

Mark 11:23: Assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to a mountain, “Be removed and cast into the sea!” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, shall have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
